Yew Trees (2004-
These ancient trees have been venerated through the ages; their fabulous presence is a current fascination in trying to find "the spirit of the landscape". Here is a selection from his growing number of yew tree portraits. Unlike Diebschlag’s other works which are oil / tempera the Yews have been painted in watercolour.
