Hans Diebschlag

Hans Diebschlag is a painter who works mainly with oils and oil / tempera mixes using traditional glazing or overlay techniques. He paints figurative pictures rich in symbolism and detail with a subject matter that often reflects his interest in the spiritual with juxtapositions of eastern and western themes.

Hans was born and trained in Germany and for the last thirty or so years has lived and worked in England.  His work has been exhibited internationally since 1982 and his paintings are in private, corporate and municipal collections worldwide.
